Trailered unlicensed off road vehicles could therefore violate motor vehicle laws when returning to the start. Be sure to consider this if you intend to drive an unlicensed off road vehicle. Official Club Radios are GRMS channel 19 for travel to-from an event and 5 for during an event. NOTE, subject to change by event leader.

Wednesday April 12th, 6:30pm to 9:00pm - Meeting, Moose Lodge #1548, 2200 Pratt Street, Longmont, CO 80501. Open to all members and guests.

The lodge is one street west of main, between 21st and 23rd on Pratt Street. We'll be in the north hall. Folks who arrive early will need to enter at the main entrance, take the 2nd left, off the lobby, enter the middle hall and continue north to the north hall. The front door is a key card door but there is a button for the bar tenders to open the door. Those that arrive early can prop the door open on east side of the north hall so folks can park on the east side of the building and enter through that door.

TRR Bylaws Change Proposal

Article 4, Dues, of the Trailridge Runners 4WD Club bylaws needs to be updated to reflect the current dues renewal policy that we have on our club website. The present bylaws, Article 4, Section F, is below.

Section F - Dues shall be due and payable within the first month of each year. A grace period will be allowed until the March meeting at which time membership will terminate and all club privileges cease (See Article 13 Section A). Any new “Supporting”,” Member” or “Associate” joining after the July meeting of said year will be required to pay the full annual dues which will be applied to the remainder of the current year and the following year's annual dues. Any member joining or re-joining after the March meeting can only join as a “Member” but can upgrade their membership to “Supporting” at the next dues cycle.

Proposed changes to Section F are shown below.

Section F - Dues shall be due and payable within the first month of each year. A grace period will be allowed until the February meeting at which time membership will terminate and all club privileges cease (See Article 13 Section A). Any new “Supporting”,” Member” or “Associate” joining after the July meeting of said year will be required to pay the full annual dues which will be applied to the remainder of the current year and the following year's annual dues. Any member joining or re-joining after the February meeting can only join as a “Member” but can upgrade their membership to “Supporting” at the next dues cycle.

Colorado State Trails Grants

One of the OHV permit funded grants for 2017 will be on Clear Creek Ranger District. A trails crew will do maintenance on Kingston Peak, Yankee Hill, Bill Moore Lake, Mill Creek, Leavenworth Creek, Waldorf, Devils Canyon, Barbour Fork and Saxon Mountain. Work will include cleaning water bars, installing signs, and contacting the public for educational purposes.

The Responsible Recreation Foundation will also receive a grant to purchase signing material to be used across the state. This includes sign posts, including carsonite posts, as well as letters and numbers stickers.
